Internship Program Overview
In The Round offers an intense, year-round internship program for advanced students in a dynamic production environment. Internships emphasize experiential, hands-on learning complemented by a staff mentor. Interns work in one or more of the design group teams along-side staff and are fully involved in the execution of client projects and meeting deadlines.
Internship candidates must show a high level of initiative, flexibility, and responsibility as well as potential for growth and working autonomously. Because of the fast-paced nature of our advanced internship, candidates must meet minimum skills requirements. Students who do not meet these requirements may be considered for an introductory internships.
Introductory Internships are typically unpaid, with low to moderate skill requirements, and an 8-12 hours per week committment
Advanced Internships are typically paid, with moderate to advanced skill requirements, and a 15-25 hours per week committment
Residencies are a special full-time post-graduate work experience. (Read more about residencies)
