communications intern

New to In the Round, Meredith is our Communications Intern for the summer and the 2006-2007 academic year. She is very excited to have the opportunity to work on projects for many local nonprofit organizations while developing her skills alongside the talented people at In the Round.

Meredith is looking forward to beginning her senior year at Malone where she is a Dean’s List student pursuing a degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in journalism. She recently concluded her year-long term as editor-in-chief of Malone’s student newspaper, The Aviso. Meredith hopes to use her intern experience at ITR to decide between exciting tracks as an award winning journalist or diving further into the world of nonprofit by working with missions groups.

After working at a local novelty ice cream shop for many summers, Meredith considers herself an ice cream aficionado and an expert banana split maker. In her down time she enjoys reading about other countries she hopes to one day visit, photography, maps, shopping for bargains and watching movies.
