Internship Program Overview
In The Round offers an intense, year-round internship program for advanced students in a dynamic production environment. Internships emphasize experiential, hands-on learning complemented by a staff mentor. Interns work in one or more of the design group teams along-side staff and are fully involved in the execution of client projects and meeting deadlines.
Internship candidates must show a high level of initiative, flexibility, and responsibility as well as potential for growth and working autonomously.
Because of the fast-paced nature of the advanced internship, candidates must meet minimum skills requirements. Students who do not meet these requirements may want to consider our introductory internships.
Duration and work schedule
All internships last at least one semester with preference given to applicants able to stay two or more semesters. Candidates must be available a minimum number of hours per week, but schedules are flexible. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. Interns must have their own dependable transportation.
- Fall (September- December)
- Spring (January-April)
- Summer (May-August)
Areas
Internships are available in three areas: audio and multimedia production; computer science and web development; and communications and graphic design. For more information, follow the individual links below:
